I grew up here, I attended Celina Public Schools, where I was active in athletics and music. I was an Ohio 4-Her, giving demonstrations at both the county and state fairs. I qualified for statewide speech contests and was an all-around enthusiastic teen.
I loved our farm then, as I do now, the natural beauty and the land. My parents were giving people. My dad, Floyd served many years as a township trustee. My mom, Margaret, was a gardener, an avid flower arranger, a woman who delighted in sharing her talents and gifts of nature with her friends.
I graduated from The Ohio State University and taught in Columbus schools. As much as I loved teaching, I knew I had another purpose. I am a writer, an author and a business owner. I am forward-looking. At my core, I care that all people are treated with KINDNESS and that each person have the opportunity to be their BEST. The issues in our community impact every single person. Your well-being matters to me – immensely.
Like my parents, I have a vision to improve and strengthen our community. I look forward to meeting and serving you. Using our gifts and talents together, we can make Mercer County even greater.
