CAPED CANINE CRUSADER REMINDS READERS
CLEANLINESS AND LIVING GREEN IS NEXT TO DOGLINESS
Eco-savvy Cedar Dog and Pup Ernie have written a resource and activity book for children and their parents. Doggone Clean and Green: Eco-Solutions for a Pet’s Daily Life is transcribed by pet parent, Kathy Deitsch. The book was released May 2, 2009 at Furry Scurry and the Denver Green Festival.
From choosing healthier food and pet products, to the scoop on poop, Doggone Clean and Green covers it all. Cedar and Pup Ernie encourage children to learn about the habitats they live in, and how their daily actions can make or break the web-of-life. Kids will delight in Cedar and Ernie’s doggone antics as they work on behalf of other pets, the earth and their human companions. Humorous text, illustrations and lots of fun activities encourage children to become a part of Cedar’s Doggone Green Crusade. An online teacher’s resource guide is coming soon!
