Saturday October 10, 2009 at 10am, Sandalwood Opens New Rehabilitation Center, Celebrates 50th Anniversary. Special Guest Cedar, Pet Therapy Dog. Cedar has been doing weekly visits at Sandalwood since 2006. Sandalwood is located at the corner of 38th and Harlan in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

“Fun Day for the Dogs“, held on Sunday, September 20 at 10 am- 5 pm. Clement Park and its 200 acres provide the Summerset Festival with a unique and beautiful event venue. Now, as the primary fundraiser of the Foothills Foundation. Soccer Fields – next to Columbine Public Library
September 19th, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, the Mile High Church International Animal Ministry is hosting the 4th annual Animal Care Affair and Pet Blessing at 9079 W. Alameda Avenue. It includes animal related exhibits and vendors, demonstrations, snacks, musical entertainment, animal adoption and a special blessing ceremony. It is complimentary, open to the public and pets are welcome.
September 18th at 7:00 pm is the Friday kick-off of the Mile High Church Animal Ministry weekend, featuring well-known animal communicator Kate Solisti, and author and life coach Kathy Pike. Pike is a leader in the field of Equine Facilitated Learning. They will speak on the Healing Power of Animals. Tickets are required, pet food donations will be accepted and distributed to area shelters. Cost $10

Cedar appeared as a guest of the City of Wheat Ridge at its Open House, Wednesday September 10, 2008. She donated $5 from the sale of her book to the Table Mountain Animal Foundation for its new facility. She discussed isssues of Clean Storm Water, Poop to Power, Homelessnes and Licensure and provided FREE, The Dog Poop Investigator hand-out, popular with kids of all ages as a coloring sheet.
